My name is Thiru and I am the owner and soap maker of KrishVi Soaps.

Until 2021, I never thought I would be making handmade soaps and related products. I have never been very particular about the soap I use. However, recently I came across an Organic Soap but was shocked to see there were really one or two natural ingredients, and the rest were all chemicals. This is when I started realizing how many commercial soaps use harsh chemicals in their soap making.

This made me curious to learn how to make soap with natural ingredients and with no chemicals. I read through a few books on soap making and studied various soap-making techniques.

I did my first try with a Natural Melt and Pour Soap Base with my choice of Essential Oil. The soap came out really well, but I was not quite satisfied as it was not 100% handmade and I did not choose the ingredients.

As the next step, I decided to make cold process soap. I chose a simple recipe with only a few natural ingredients and the soap came out so well. Thus, my journey with soap-making started.

Knowing what your soap contains and is safe on your skin, gives so much satisfaction and relief. I started making Soap in small batches for myself, family, and friends. Some of my friends came back and asked me to make some more for them. This made me think why not sell them?
